hello, winter

well, hello winter. yes, i see you there, with your bitterly cold mornings and fog so thick i can barely see. and your snow – really?! already?! well, that is simply too much for this girl to take. i’m going to have to soothe myself by pinning endless pictures of warm, tropical destinations on pinterest. take that.

but i have to admit, while the snow was a bit traumatic pour moi, it was really quite exciting for the chicklets. they bundled up in hats and boots, cocooned themselves in their scarves and scooted out to the back porch for some catching of the snowflakes on their tongues. ok, that was pretty adorable.

but listen, winter – with all due respect, can i ask you to pleeeease take it easy on us for the next few months? this place can get pretty dreary, what with the sun going down at FIVE O’CLOCK. good lord. anyway, have mercy, s’il vous plait.
